GIS Day at the Libraries
The Libraries of The Claremont Colleges will be celebrating GIS Day on Wednesday, November 15, 2006.
A global event, GIS Day is celebrated annually in countries around the world.
Visit Honnold/Mudd Library to learn how geography and geographic information systems technology can make a difference in our lives.
Events we have scheduled for that day:
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Map gallery, Geocache, and geography quiz
Honnold/Mudd Library south lawn
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Software demonstrations
across from the Services Desk inside Honnold/Mudd Library
4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Faculty presentations on the use of GIS in teaching and research
