Celebrate Reading, April 12-13

Last year more than 2 billion items were checked out and nearly 1.8 billion people visited libraries nationwide. You were probably one of them!

What's the one place on campus where you can come together with the ideas you need to write your paper, study with friends, and get assistance from library staff for resources for your thesis? It's the Libraries of the Claremont Colleges, and National Library Week is a perfect time to check us out!

To celebrate, readers, including students, faculty and staff from the college community, will come together for public readings, good desserts and coffee on April 12th and 13th in the Founders Room of Honnold/Mudd Library. Each reader will read from their own chosen selection and can choose to be videotaped! Selections might include short stories, poetry, book excerpts, personal writings, dramatic interpretations or other written works. Watch for announcements about this event.
