Open Access Day, October 14

Enjoy refreshments, watch a live webcast, and participate in a lively discussion in the Founders Room in Honnold/Mudd Library beginning at 6:30pm on October 14, 2008, the world's first Open Access Day. Open Access Day will help to broaden awareness and understanding of Open Access, including recent mandates and emerging policies, within the international higher education community and the general public.

Open Access is a growing international movement that puts peer-reviewed scientific and scholarly literature on the internet without barriers. It encourages the unrestricted sharing of research results with everyone, everywhere, for the advancement of research and society.
