The following RefWorks workshops have been scheduled for January and February:

• Thursday, January 29, 6pm - 8pm
• Monday, February 2, 6pm - 8pm
• Tuesday, February 10, 4pm - 6pm
• Friday, February 20, 4pm - 6pm
• Tuesday, February 24, 6pm - 8pm

RefWorks is a web-based bibliography management system that allows you to create and manage your own personal database of articles, web pages, and other types of information valuable for your research. In this workshop you will learn the basics of RefWorks for creating your database and importing records. You will also learn how to use the records in your database to format notes and bibliographies in the appropriate style (MLA, APA, etc.) for your papers.

Workshops are held in the Keck Learning Room, Honnold/Mudd Library. If you plan to bring your own laptop rather than use a library computer, be sure that your wireless card has been registered for the CINE network by academic computing on your campus.

Due to work on the water lines coming into the Honnold/Mudd building, the library will be closed on Tuesday, January 13, until 1 pm.

Denison, Seeley G. Mudd, and Sprague libraries will be open during regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday.

Reservations will be accepted for study carrels beginning Tues., Jan. 20, at 8 AM on a first-come, first-served basis at the Honnold/Mudd Services Desk. Reservations may be phoned in if you know the carrel number (909-621-8150). Please note, however, that phoned reservations will be processed only after those who have waited outside as the library opens are given a carrel assignment.
