Welcome the New Original Cataloger and Metadata Librarian, Jacqueline Munoz

The Claremont Colleges Library is pleased to announce that Jacqueline Munoz has been appointed as Original Cataloger and Metadata Librarian. Jacqueline will ensure that the Claremont Colleges Library's unique, rare, and distinctive collections in multiple languages and formats are discoverable. She will serve as the library's lead original and rare book cataloger and metadata creator.

Jacqueline joins us from Austin, Texas, where she served as Cataloging and Collection Development Librarian at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center. Jacqueline received her Master's in Library Science from Texas Women's University, Denton, Texas and recently received Postgraduate Certification in Digital Humanities from University College London, United Kingdom.

She has extensive experience in cataloging and a deep appreciation for making collections discoverable. We're both fortunate and thrilled to have secured Jacqueline's services for the Claremont Colleges Library.
